Pawtucket really needs an owner. Outscored them 61-11 in a 3 game series including an extra inning game where I scored 8 runs in the top of the 12th.

EDIT - And then they went on to sweep Pitt.

They've allowed 183 runs in 19 games. That's pretty sad...

Not a bad week for Don McGuire. Had a 3 HR game with 8 RBI and then hit for the cycle 2 days later.

Not a bad week for the Wildcats either. I wanted to take 2 of 3 from Morgantown and at least win a game in a 4 game set against the Bats. We did slightly better than my 3-4 prediction. I'm just curious to see if we can keep it up. The starting pitching is getting better. Carr and Sanchez got off to rough starts. The offense has relied on some unknowns chipping in, and they've done just that thus far. John Gordon/John Gorrie platoon is looking good, and Manny Davila is hitting well. Lefebre was always a player my scout loved, but he never showed anything in the BLB until last year's brief stint in Wilmington prior to his season ending injury.

I'd just like to point out that I was the first on the Wilmington bandwagon.

Heh, it's WAY too early for that. I'm still not sold on my team. I like it, but we have some glaring weaknesses. Like I said before the season, our goal is to play .500 ball and keep improving. I think we still need another year or two. We have some money to spend over the next two years as well.

That humble crap has no place in the Stout. I now shun you.

Hmm. Despite the results, I don't think Denver played poorly. Just on the wrong end of a few games.

Heh, it did feel good going into Washington and wiping the floor with the World Champs.

We enjoyed seeing it. We could only get 1 of 3 from them... but we did shake up Carlton and Alvarez a little. You're welcome for that.

We appreciate you softening up Morgantown for us.

Yah, I don't think we helped ease Pat's worries about the back half of that rotation. I think exposed is a better term to describe what we did to them.

I can't gloat too much cause he did get 2 of 3 from me.... but I have to say it's nice to see Washington listed as 3rd place... even if it's only because I'm higher alphabetically.

I'm stunned. My pitching has completely fallen apart.
