Lost my best young pitcher and somebody who I was gonna call up (Tad Crossman) for 12 months with an arm injury. There went that career.

Past 1st round pick...finally a young gun in the rotation. Injuries will be my OOTP downfall.

That was one of the better young pitchers coming into the league.

There's still hope. He's so talented that maybe he takes a hit, but he'll be a middle rotation guy instead of a potential ace.

...Yea, I know that doesn't make it much better.

He'll probably go to the bullpen now. After the rating drop by SP Walters the future just don't look as bright anymore.

It's my fault though...the kid has 2 stamina but wanted to be a SP...so I let him...and he was tearing it up (literally).

No injuries, which is great, but all I can really think about is the new version of Shavermetrics.

            Anyone watching the feeder leagues?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
            <o:p></o:p>
            I'll be mighty interested to see how this Ismael Ramirez turns out for <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Fyreburg</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Academy</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p>
            <o:p></o:p>
He's already listed as the leagues best pitcher and he's only 15. Just came off a 17 strikeout game too.<o:p></o:p>
            <o:p></o:p>
Hope the guy can avoid injuries for his 3? 4? years in HS before he is draft eligible.<o:p></o:p>

Finally a no-injury sim. We pitched much better this sim (I know it doesn't really mean anything) but it looked nice to see some of our better players playing as such.

Shavermetrics are running as we speak. There has definately been some changes. I always say "water finds it's level". I think people are going to be a little more content with this math... though there are still some shocks.

Relatively healthy. Can't ask for much more than that. Had some surprises in ST. John Gordon and Manny Davila played well, earning them some time in the OF to start the season. I'll go with a platoon in LF between Davila and Hernandez, and a platoon in CF with Gordon and Gorrie. My Rule V pick, Von Pearson (something like that) handled the bat well but will still be a backup that sees plenty of action.

#1 prospect P Hector Pagan had two good showings but will start the season at AAA to work on his command. I'd like to leave him there all season unless he completely dominates.
