You guys had one of the better spats I could remember over Al Jones.

You posted about how happy you were about him hitting .400 to start off his career and then Skerik came in with some blast about you hot shotting him to the pros out of A ball. You came back with a 'my pitchers can hit better than Stafford' joke, and then a couple weeks later Skerik was gone.

    • I think mine was at 1.5 million. I raised it to 4.5, I believe.

lol, Al Jones was a minor league stud. He was hitting like .600 a month after the draft.

          • We let him go this past season...

I let him go because of his age and me never seeing him being a BLB player. He could've played at least 6 more seasons in the Washington organization.

            • Sounds like a guy that would look good on my Triple-A All-Star team.

              • With the 22nd pick in the 2nd round, the Washington Bats select, 2B Yoshinori Shibutani of Japan.

My scout has him 6/7/3/6/6 potential and #13 overall prospect in the entire draft. He can also run (6-7-6) and looks like he could play infield or outfield. 5-5-3-5 infield ratings, 5-6-3 outfield ratings.

                • My scout didn't think he was anything special. Talk about differences.

Would have been my next pick if available. 6-8-3-6-7. Decent Speed. Good pick.

                      • My scout isn't too high on him either. Has him #66 on his draft list but nothing in his ratings that jump out except for good speed.

I'm on autopick. Was away pretty much all day Monday and Tuesday so haven't had time to even look at the draft yet.

                            • I have 9 picks left and 14 guys in my Queue. Based on most of your reactions... I feel confident that I will not have to reload my list.

I'm with you on that one Clay. I've got quite a few guys left in the queue, but my scout isn't too really high on probably no more than 5.
