The draft utility doesn't seem to have any of the traded picks in it? I may not be looking at this correctly.

Philly should have the Syracuse 2nd rounder, I think.

Looks good to me. Five picks in the 1st three rounds again for Batavia...which bust will it be this year!

Went through my big board from last year to see how well my scout did with the class now a year older.

I went through the Top 25 guys according to my rankings and checked to see if they were currently in the Top 100 prospect list. Then, I filtered out all the guys that were MR or closers as they don't tend to show up as top prospects anyways.

So, without further adieu, here is how my scout has faired on his Top 25 position players and starting pitchers, so far.

                  1. LF - Chad Rowe (-)
                  2. CF - Jerry Daly (42)
                  3. 1B - Jerry Jones (61)
                  4. SP - Jerry Howell (8)
                  5. LF - Pete Merner (22)
                  6. LF - Wes Famer (-)
                  7. C - T.J. Miller (-)
                  8. SP - Tamasaburo Okamoto (20)
                  9. 1B - Zander Foster (53)
                  10. CF - Kel William (-)
                  11. 1B - Ismael Reyes (31)
                  12. 1B - Derrek Campbell (93)
                  13. LF - Rex Whittier (-)
                  14. 2B - Cristin Rivera (75)
                  15. SP - Robby Williams (45)
                  16. 1B - Arthur Allaire (-)
                  17. 3B - Don Robison (56)
                  18. 1B - T.J. Walker (-)
                  19. SP - Loren Washington (30)
                  20. SP - Hctor Pagn (1)
                  21. 1B - Lucio Molinari (63)
                  22. 3B - Loren Randall (98)
                  23. 3B - Cormac Dye (-)
                  24. CF - Hctor Marn (77)
                  25. LF - Jerry Murphy (-)

                  Results:

As you can see, my scout seems to have correctly predicted that 16 out of the Top 25 players would be considered top prospects.

A break down by position shows the following.

C - 1 player in the Top 25; none rated as top prospect
1B - 7 players in the Top 25; 5 rated as top prospects
2B - 1 player in the Top 25; 1 rated as top prospect
3B - 3 players in the Top 25; 2 rated as top prospects
SS - No players rated in the Top 25
LF - 5 players in the Top 25; 1 rated as top prospect
CF - 3 players in the Top 25; 1 rated as top prospect
RF - No players rated in the Top 25
SP - 5 players in the Top 25; 5 rated as top prospects

                  Conclusion:

Interesting results to be sure. My scout was dead on with who he thought the best pitching prospects were going 5-5... but he was awful with OF'ers going 2-8. Infielders he went 8-12 which isn't too bad.

Does anyone else keep old scouting reports? How did your scout do when you update the rankings with the Top Prospect list?

                    I'm confused...

why are none of the international players showing up in the utility? Are they not eligible?

If you have it set to display stats, it looks like only feeder league players show up. If you change that to ratings, I think everyone is there from what I've looked at so far.

There's a guy in the draft named "The Letter Z" Mendoza. Now I like Z as much as the next guy, but that's gotta go.
