I shake my head every time I see his name in a boxscore.

      Scout.

With as many 2's and 3's as these guys have... it'd be impossible for me to pick out who was going to turn out to be a star.

        Combination of a few factors:
        - My Scouts Ratings
        - OSA Ratings
        - Stats (if available)
        - Player Type (we have a preference)
        - Comps to similar rated guys on past draft lists

Not really. I had a much better version of him and traded him to PIT for a 10th rounder to make room for 4th/5th OFers who can acutally play.

He can play D and steal bases for $280K a year. Until he loses speed, he's a no brainer #5.

                    • Speaking of VIR OFers, what's going on with Artie Rhodes? My scout all of a sudden thinks he should be washing windows or starring in gay porn.

                      • lol, I think our scouts are exact opposites Clay. The guys you picked weren't even on my radar for 1st and 2nd round.

                        • Not even Pat Robbins? I thought he was a lock as one of the top two pitchers with Dimmick.

But Clay and I share the same scout... so maybe that's why.

They can't be complete opposites... my Scout liked your 1st Rounder.... but your 2nd Rounder he hates. He's actually the lowest rated pick so far by my scout.

My scout has never thought highly of Rhodes. He is probably the worst rated IL All-Star, ever.

He reminds me of Joe Zazueto in his IL Rookie Season. Sometimes guys play above their ratings, especially as rookies, on good teams.

No, Pat Robbins was the 32nd best pitcher according to my scout. He was high on Dimmick though, but had him behind Ortega and Sanchez.
