I'm going to rerun my math after Spring Training to account for ST injuries and any bargain shopping people do over the next two sims (though it appears FA's did NOT lower their prices) to make my OFFICIAL Shavermetrics predicition for the season.

But, once again, I stand by my Math.

They lowered, but because they started so high, they're still demanding too much.

I can accept pride for some people, but I do wish Markus finds a way to let these guys realize that some money is better than no money. It's not like anyone is trying to give these guys peanuts. It's just that a 40 year old player shouldn't be demanding close to $20 MM a year when he's obviously declining.

Speaking of demands...anyone else noticed there seem to be less fringe guys who are in their early/mid-20's who won't accept a minor league contract? Most of the ones I'm looking at have no BLB experience but want a BLB contract. I don't get it.

That happens every once in a while.

Usually means a quick end to a not so talented guys career.
