  • SIM COMPLETE - 1980 - Sim 20

Seems like a lot of the division leaders are pulling away. Hopefully we get at least one race that comes down to the wire.

4-2, split with Windy City. Not gonna be good enough since they never lose a single game against anyone else apparently.

1-2 vs. Sin City, 4-0 vs. Hartford. Lead still at 12 games.

Above average crap for the Wildfires with a 3-3 sim. The offense appears to have been alive for this sim with a good number of hitters hitting .275+(a real accomplishment considering my squad).

Tajo Delcios continues to be exceptional in most starts. No wins and no losses...letting up 1 and then 3 runs. His last win was also his worst in about 10 starts. *sigh* This guy should be a 10 game winner even on this team.

My better prospects(the ones that aren't injured) are all looking decent these days...I'm hoping that the ones that I really have my eye on live up to potential.

Don't worry, I'm sure my team will make the Stout a race. Although it's hard to complain now with a 5-1 week and one more week to go until Lacour is back in the rotation.

Kellum's hitting over the last two months has been insane.

well, I actually had a good sim. but it came a few sims to late.

I challenge anyone to try and replicate the race that Los Lunas and Hyundai had last season, that was special!

I think I've got the Wildcard wrapped up in the Stout.

5-2 up 5 games. Good week. Cobellan returns, Kishima is 2-3 weeks, Hoover listed at 3 weeks. We've done a great job battling through the injuries.

Bootleggers were 4-3 and are playing .500 ball in August. I have been bringing up a lot of my younger players to see how they will preform in the majors and it's been really promising. Now if I can just get some starting pitching on my ML squad I think I'll be fielding a competitive team. Unfortunately I don't think Ray Royal is quite ready for the show, but I think Sakai is only a year away. In a related story, after a promising start upon his return from the DL, it appears that Jack Watson still has his head firmly logged up his ass....

I think your team is gonna be a power once you get both those guys up there. Not many teams in the DL have two very good starting pitchers like that. Except for Hyundai, but thats only because Hartford gave him his entire starting rotation.

So, do the Rosters expand to 40 after this next SIM?

I'm convinced you used your corrupt commish powers to raise their rating behind the scenes, while again making yourself the frontrunner in our division. Again, I call for a full investigation into these matters.

Jeff...if Stu is willing to put in all the hard work it takes to sim until he has a winning week, then who are we to judge....
