  • Interesting stat for the Bats

Here are my starters home/road splits for the 1980 season:

    #1 Romano Gonzales = 5.97 home, 2.14 road
    #2 Carl Pateshall = 3.74 home, 2.96 road
    #3 Cristofor Villazon = 3.84 home, 2.63 road
    #4 Joe Knuckles = 6.75 home, 4.91 road
    #5 Joe Alvavez = 4.58 home, 3.93 road

I'm like the 90's Colorado Rockies.

Checked my hitting splits, and its the same.

Bunch of players hit .300 plus at home, and at the mendoza line for the road.

Hmmm....I wonder if I can find a middle ground and make some stadium changes?

Not really surprising, you play in one of the most hitter friendly parks in the league based on the park factors. My splits are pretty similar, though my park seems to be almost neutral across the board. Ponte is especially good on the road, with an ERA of 0.93, WHIP of 0.75.

I think the BLB as a whole is slanted more towards pitchers parks.
