Well, not the way I thought things would go after the trades we made, but we should have essentially the same team next year, so we'll have to see how we do with a full season of this team.

Congrats and good luck to the Playoff teams!

Fuck the AI. How does it start a guy on 2-days rest when my ACE could go? I only blame myself for blowing it... but not being able to reexport for the 1-game playoff made it a no win.

7-1 Sim. I don't think we had a 6 game winning streak all year. We outscored teams 41-21 in that final week....I'm stunned, but I'll take it.

I've also never had 3 players hit 20+ homers the same year. Carillo also finished 1 shy of 20 wins. Damn what a finish.

                8-22 down the stretch...absolutely pathetic.

If you are going to play like you should play...then don't play hard the earlier months to give us hope.

                  Yikes 3-4.

Would have been nice to win 90 games. Windy City made things very interesting, congrats to them for winning the WC!

Now its time to pack our bags for Philly...

I said it a couple sims ago but now that the season is over....what a great job by all the Pilsner teams. Not only the only division to have 4 teams over .500...but the only to have 3 teams over .500. This is going to be a tough division for quite a few years.

Off to Maine for a tough first round matchup. Everybody remembers the Storm upsetting a far superior Guides squad last year in the first round- can they do it again?

This is a phenomenal matchup for those who enjoy well-pitched games. These are the two best pitching staffs (when healthy) from top to bottom in the DL in my opinion. Maine has the two headed monster of O'Moore and Suarez that can match up with the best in the league. I'll counter with a rotation featuring All-Stars Gervasio Areas and Don Leonard. The other guys in the rotation include 17 game winner Manny Puerias and the incredibly consistent Jerry Ferrell (who really deserves a better record).

Maine's offense even without Hernandez is scary. It's gonna be a fun series, I'm not expecting much but it will definitely be entertaining.

Wow. Didn't think being down 5 games in the WC with 2 SIMs left we'd be able to get to the playoffs for the 3rd straight year this season...however a 10-3 record down the stretch was enough to steal it from those pesky Clowns. I'm even more happy about this because most of this team will be coming back next year as well.

We were 8-4 against the Bulls this year, so that's something to go off of. Hopefully our 3 15-game winners can do some damage in the playoffs.

Bulls did not fare well against the playoff teams this season. Lost Gonzalez for the rest of the season, but he wasn't gonna take the ball anyway. He was horrible in the second half

Agreed. Best division in the league. No question. Everyone has a legit shot and everyone has a good squad.

Also, the Virginia and Washington rivalry is bound to get even more fierce after this year. Diesel went out of his way to give 100% at the end of the year, gotta give props for somebody respecting a good rivalry- gutsy managing but I love it :)
