You have the best record in the league. Hate to break this to you, but there is 0% chance a usefull player clears all the other teams to make it to you for the playoffs.

I agree, this and the waiver-deadline, are rules we should visit this off-season.
Exactly the issue I've had with OOTP regarding this. You'd think with 40 man rosters, this rule would have been implemented or at least made optional.

I stand corrected. There may be players that have already cleared that could be of interest. I'm on to you, sir.

You are forgetting about players who have already cleared waivers...

I preemptively call a special session of the trade committee.

Well, all I know is any team trading with a Contender at this point in the season should be holding out for a King's Ransom.

I think if we want to implement the August 31st Playoff Roster Rule next season, it would be pretty easy to track.

                      1. I agree...unless you are trading with the Bats.

Looks like O'Loughlin has been doing better since you put him on a count. You can thank me after the season is over & you've won the division.

P.S. I'm pretty sure I suggested it to you as I traded him to you & you said something about not believing in pitch counts.

Think you might have won the WC if you had hung onto Pateshall and O'Loughlin?

hahaha, that sounds about right. Thanks to you I now have everybody on a pitch count!

Pending a collapse in the last week, I'll be happy to provide you and the family with playoff tickets.

Not the way Pateshall was pitching for me. I think there are some players who do better in one league or another...who knows why. He's been awesome for you.

O'Loughlin was good for me but Pearson has really stepped up recently & pitched like I thought he could. I couldn't have predicted that. I figured Indy would make a big move, which they did, and then I figured I had no chance. I obviously wouldn't have predicted a 3 game sweep this late in the season with their additions.

I'll be pumped if we make the WC but if we don't I think my team made a nice push the last couple months.
