    Awful sim.

My Triple-A club lost a one-game playoff. My Double-A team lost games 6 and 7 by one-runs with my two best SPs.

Oh, and my BLB club...yeah, they went 2-5...half my team is on a cold streak...the Wildcats won the series 2-1 and the Colonials won 3-1.

      Talk about a bittersweet SIM....

Go from 0 HRs last SIM to 16 this SIM!!!! (5 for Woodbury and 5 for Nino)

Take a 3-1 series from WSH, but lost a series to Morgantown.

On top of that... lose O'Hegarty and Morgan for essentially the rest of the regular season.

Wow... my DL is starting to look like an All-Star team.

Very bittersweet. Sucks about the injuries. Oyos and Martinez to the rescue?

Martinez is hitting well right now, but his D is so bad. Probably my only option though.

Morgan's spot.... no idea. Probably committee. Pancho Garcia will probably get another start. McSwain could spot start when Simmongs comes back. Got a guy in AAA (Lonnie Coleman) who might be able to get a start or two.

Funny part about the Morgan injury is he got it running the bases.... after his 2nd 2B in as many ABs. I blame your pitching.

Pulled one more game closer, now just one game back.

Clarence Wetton AGAIN, just killing it. He's been death in August and now September. He might actually head my team in homers which we never thought would happen. Bovey as well is murdering right now.

Got some better SP this sim too. This is going down to the wire.

Yep, Denver is on the verge of a second straight September collapse.

In '87, after a disappointing April, Denver played .600 baseball from May-August. Then September happened and they slipped from first to third.

                '88 is looking eerily similar.

I'm nervous to see how we fair against you guys this week. Unfortunately the wildcard doesn't look too realistic for either of us.

I'm hoping some of the youngsters can step up and carry us through September. It might cost us AAA playoff hopes but its worth it to inch closer to the Brewmaster.

That happened to TJ during his brief ownership. Came out of the gate like... well... an angry Bull... then barely held on.

This is gonna be tight for sure. If you were Riverman I would want to beat you by 10 games and watch you collapse.

Now I'll just be happy with a 1game win. Good luck!

Why do I have the feeling Dallas is going to win the Pilsner?

On the positive side: Rayford Winchel really likes Denver.

I gave up two minor league pitchers to reacquire him, but no worries. I like Winchel and he fits my organizational philosophy (which I'll never reveal to anyone).

Coincidentally, Brad Sanford and Manny Duran do not fit that philosophy. They may fit someone else's and there's a good chance they'll someday fit that philosophy, but my scout doesn't believe so despite their numbers.
