Just to clear up any questions... I will spend one manager pick on Grounds or O'Hegarty, so both have made the team this season.

IL managers I ask of you: Would you all prefer that at least one player from every team is represented, or, would you prefer that we go for the win and only the best players are invited?

In the years that I have been IL All-Star manager, I have tried to get as many teams represented as possible. So, I prefer the first.
              Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
              Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

                  One player from each. :)

CL Bayer would like a spot.

The only teams currently not represented:

                    Batavia
                    Wilmington
                    Morgantown

I've found a player for Batavia and Wilmington I'd like to pick, but I'm struggling with Morgantown.

I'm fine either way. I guess my first choice would be that every team get a REP, but a WIN also benefits us all, so it's kind of a push.

I apologize for not voting... I have been running around for the holidays I didn't even see this thread till this morning.

Linty: don't pick any of my crappy players...field a good team.

In Morgantown's defense, I'd go with either Jon Cleary or Romano Gonzalez.

I think if you have to take a Mohawk, your best option is Houck as a B/U Catcher, but that would likely mean snubbing Windley, who deserves to go.

It'd be hard to send one of the Pitchers because their best two Gonzalez and Cashan, have been out for quite a few starts. Tough call.

Absent a rule dictating that each team MUST be represented and the presence of Plasticbeasts' own post regarding the selection (or lack thereof) of any Morgantown players, I must say it would be rather difficult to select any Mohawks for this year's team. There are already going to be a couple (perhaps several) players that are truly deserving that won't make the IL squad. To add to that list of deserving players who will not make the team by one for the sake of representing each franchise is probably not the best course of action in my opinion.

There's no rule. I just thought it would be nice to get all teams involved.

If Morgantown is ok with no players on the team, I'll move on and pick another player in their place.
