I'm not talking about your top 100 prospect who has finally developed. I'm talking about the BLB veterans who was average who is now a really good player.
Anyone seen any of these guys on their own teams? How are those players doing that got insane arbitration numbers?
The main one I have seen is Morgantown's pitcher, Anselmo Altahirano. Former MR. Journeyman. His arbitration last year was $280k. He put up a 6.45 ERA in 60 innings last year. This year he got $4.8 million. OSA has him rated 8-5-7. My scout, through all the years of having the player on my team, and after, had him 6-2-5.
Now, in three starts, is 2-1, 17 IP, 20 Ks, 1.59 ERA....wow!
