I would argue that getting 1 at-bat from the first and only player to make $30.0 in a season is... well.... tough.

But, losing anyone for the season sucks.

Losing players for the season sucks but it's worse losing a player for the rest of the year when the injury happens in September. Last year I was calling up Triple-A guys and making waiver trades with Pittsburgh to fill out my rotation for the post-season.

In more good news, the Kodiaks lead the IL in runs scored the first sim.

In bad news, Philly's pitching staff gave up the least amount of runs in all of the BLB in the first sim.

Our rotation is a complete crapshoot.

I'm guessing we'll go O'Rogan, Lang, Miyamoto... but after that it's downright embarrassing.

Julian Orozco is looking more and more suited to the pen... in AAA. Clarence Nicholson pitched alright this sim but he's not the answer. Don Stevens got lit up; I was hoping for him to at least be average. Tajo Hernandez was alright but he's in the same boat as Orozco.

My guess is that it'll be Orozco and $5 million dollar arbitration man Stanton Colin... awesome.

I don't think you can judge much at all about pitching staffs in ST. With starters limited to 4 innings, your bullpen pitches everyday and therefore tends to not reflect accurately on how they look as a unit.

I really don't put much of any stock into ST stats.

Something that is interesting to look at is who your manager is picking to take off the bench for either pinch hitting or late game replacements. Some teams, mine included, have 40 players on the ST roster. My manager is giving some guys a TON of at bats off the bench while he is giving others nothing.

Colin must be a sleeper. There's no way he's worth 5 million when looking at his stats. I have a feeling he might do some good things for you this year.

Weird that there are Night and Day games in ST, but not in the regular season.

Won't there be night games in the regular season with X?

I didn't see any on my schedule.

It's because of the schedule we use. The file would need to be manually edited to include day games as well. The ST schedule is generated by the game which is why it includes both.

Is the regular season schedule that is currently in game going to be the real schedule? Last year it changed when Andrew loaded the custom regular season schedule.

Anybody else excited for the start of the feeder leagues?

By the end of Wednesday's sim, they'll have kicked off their seasons!

I thought the same thing. Of course I didn't get the arbitration system and I just offered him the minimum offer instead of withdrawing. I thought he was asking for 3.5. He got 5.

He looked good last sim. Here's to hoping.
