Did anyone else have a ton of wildness? I think I saw a lot more hit batters than I usually would during the regular season.

Hells yea. Philly is trying to start a feud. I think We got hit 5 or 6 times in just those 2 weeks. Plus one game i watched against Virginia had a lot of passed balls/wild pitches (not sure which).

I saw a few... not a ton though.

Cam Mills obviously threw at Nino on purpose... so we brought 'Old Blue' in in the 9th to bean Keita Uchiyama. We'll be throwing at Batavia the rest of the season... unfortunately... we'd like to throw at their good players and simply couldn't find any.

The one bright spot I saw from the first sim for the Kodiaks was the play of 2B Jarred Good and C Jared Austin.

            Good - .396/.434/.542/.976 in 48 at bats
            Austin - .304/.418/.370/.788 in 46 at bats... but with a 9/3 BB/K rate.

Obviously I'll need the production with the loss of Shannon and Bovey for an extended period of time.

Sadly, as I had feared, it looks as if Shannon will be hurt big time by the injury. He's already dropped off the Top 20 players list after being a mainstay.

That 3 year 30+ million deal doesn't look to good right now.

Keep in mind, we know there have been changes to the Top Player's List in the conversion to OOTPX, so it may not place injured players on it. I wouldn't read too much into it yet. It does appear that ratings definately move sim to sim now.

I suppose there's a chance that's correct. I just remember when Aurillo went down for the year, he never left the list... same for Brode.

So, I'm not exactly expecting things to turn out good.

I think the list is more dynamic than it use to be.

I still think you have a solid shot in that division.

Like I said earlier... I think the Bovey injury actually hurts worse.

It kills any depth I had in the OF, and I can't just replace Shannon with either Bovey or Dupuis.

There is no way there is an injury bigger than losing the reigning MVP.

Maybe you should roll the dice and trade him?

                                Good point.

No use in sulking though. I won the championship last season, so I can't complain.
