Sad to see Justin Chewning go down. At one point I had three of the top 10 prospects, and the #1 system in the league. Those three guys: Carbajal, Zamora and Chewning - Chewning is always injured and taking rating hits, Zamora's future is still up in the air, and Carbajal looks to be the only true star. The rest of the prospects outside of the top 10 have all flamed out as well.

      Let the injuries begin.

Already two Tobs down, but it could be worse (California).

I think there's a bug in the game.

Nino got suspended on March 10th. I understand that that suspension is supposed to count for the first 5 games of the season, but why is he not playing in ST now? If the suspension counts again regular season, shouldn't he still be playing?

"Doorbell" hit one out against Mills, he beaned Nino. I'm good with that.

Yeah that was unfortunate- I luckily have some depth at the corner OF spots and am going to plug in 1987 AAA Outstanding Batter Masahige Ohayashi there for the time being. Not expecting a ton out of him and I will tinker with my lineup to compensate.

Do we even have suspensions in the game? I've seen my players ejected many times and the game says they will be suspended in the pbp and they never do.

22 year old SS Geoff Scott picked up 16 walks in 59 PAs during this first sim.

                    1986 - 13 BB in 557 PAs
                    1987 - 37 BB in 533 PAs

Maybe he's finally growing into his Eye potential. I'm really hoping for a breakout year for him.

Yeah, we do. This is my 2nd straight year of ST suspensions. O'Hegarty got KO'd in ST last year and missed the first 3 games. My team is feisty.

Not true. If your pitcher gets shelled in ST, he's going to get shellacked in the league.

Despite the injury to Shannon, that starting rotation is tough. Will keep you in a lot of games and Steward can do a decent job to fill in the hole.
