Couldn't everyone have slowed down? Now I'm at work, with 4 hours to pick & am gameless here. I went through my guys last night but would've liked to look at them once more. Oh well...hopefully I had them mostly in order.Dallas Snappers

I'm noticing some of the pitchers don't show a fastball as one of their pitches. That's odd.Philly Freedom

Seems more like a bug to me. What pitcher has to develop a FB?Philly Freedom

For example...
Sinkers
Cutters
Unless the pitcher is a knuckleballer... which I think I counted two in our entire universe, they will have some sort of fastball type pitch.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

It just seems odd that any pitcher would get created without a fastball.Last edited by BradZ; 12-02-2009, 11:34 AM.Philly Freedom

Well... I think of it this way.
In high school when I pitched, I started out with just a flat four seam fastball a change up and a horrible hanging curve.
I quickly realized that my results would not improve unless I changed things up.
I switched over to a two seamer (sinker)* kept the change up and switched to a harder biting slider.
I no longer threw what OOTP would consider a 'fastball'. I threw a sinker.
* Yes I know a two seamer and a sinker are not 100% alike.... but you get the point.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

I'm remaining optimistic since I've had this scout for a few years and I'm still the #3 Farm System... so he must know something.
Guess you and I will clean up then. The Great One!

I've actually liked most of the picks, some of them were strange. But the guy I got, my scout has right at the top so I was truly stunned he was there.WINDY CITY PLAYBOYS
