I love the variation now that we have scouts on. According to my scouts, and from their performance so far, my best pick from last years draft was my 5th round pick. Much better than season 1 when we pretty much went right down the list.

I didn't have any high picks but the three pitchers I got who have pitched for my A team are 5-0 having surrenderd a combined 2 earned runs in something like 35 innings. They were all college kids and I guess more than ready for A ball.

Howard Haydon has started off slow, batting .063 in 16 AB's. My other first rounder, SP Gary Boivin, debuted very nicely. He went 6 1/3 innings, giving up only 4 hits and 2 ER.

My top pick, SP Logan Greathouse is 1-1 with a 4.09. One bad start, one very good one. Also nearly gave me a heart attack, lasted only one inning last start and is out for 1-2 weeks. His 2nd start was a gem, 8 IP, 3 H, 2K, 0BB, 0 R.

My 3rd round pick, Raul Darientos is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA. I'm happy with his performance, I thought he might be a steal. Of course he is also out for a week.
