Fire the scout? Fire the manager? How am I supposed to build anything when this keeps happening.

SP Chet Stephens 1st Rd pick in '85
          01/86 - 8-5-8
          01/88 - 4-4-5

CF Mal Jones 1st Rd pick in '86
          11/87 - 5-4-5
          01/88 - 4-3-4

SS Shawn Miner 2nd Rd Pick in '86
          11/87 - 6-6-5
          01/88 - 4-4-4

3B Joaquin Sanchez 3rd Rd Pick in '86
          11/87 - 5-4-4
          01/88 - 4-3-4

So far my guys from '87 are looking nice...Crossman, Hamilton, and Walters...but for how long? When there are drastic changes between the OSA and my scout it worries me, especially with a lot of picks coming up in the 1st three rounds this season.

Do scouts improve? He is at scout 65 right now for amateurs while six teams are at 80. Looking over some of their drafts they are substantially better than mine.

It's enough to keep me awake at night!

Most likely your scout. Stevens dropping off that far is shocking.

Any "big" signings? No HTML and no game at work.

Why don't you have HTML? It's already been updated.

I guess I do....I just thought with Clay saying we should be scared, I figured he landed a big name FA that I would see at the front of the BLB news page.

So how do I remedy that? Are there new scouts that will come into the game...will mine get better...do I throw a ton of cash at amateur scouting?

No, it was more of a general comment about my overall awesomeness. I'm probably going to post it every sim.

Couple of ways (and they all require luck):

                            1. Wait for someone's scout to leave (or wait for someone to forget to sign their own scout).

                            2. Hope that a magical genie magically makes an existing scout like Magic Johnson magic good.

Don't wish injury on your opponents... you're better than that... come on..... be better than that.
