Hmm. if disabling the firewall doesn't work, try setting ftp_passive to 0 and set ftp_timeout_milliseconds to 90000 (even though I don't think this is it)Originally posted by rubisco43 View Postand my ftp_passive_mode is already at 1. i'll try disabling windows firewall for the time being.

Yeah that's definitely it. Some of the ftp settings were wrong in the first file and I fixed them in a later one. Download the current file manually using the link in the owners forum.Originally posted by rubisco43 View Postdo you think it has anything to do with the FTP options? my in-game date is 11-02-1987.
Try exporting after you load it (in game date should be 11/25) and let me know if it works.

You're installing to the default folders, correct?Originally posted by Pat View PostSo, who here is playing OOTP X on Vista?
If they wouldn't mind, I would love a walkthrough on installing.
From what I understand the only thing special you need to do is right click the shortcut and run it as admin. I'm on XP though so don't know for sure.

Yeah, I never change what folders I am installing to.Originally posted by Andrew View PostYou're installing to the default folders, correct?

And yes, I have been running as admin. That's not even an "issue" with people who have had Vista or Windows 7 for a week....you just learn to start doing that.Last edited by Pat; 10-29-2009, 11:41 AM.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Yeah I'm not sure how much I can help. Dumb question but have you rebooted since the issue started? Sometimes when a program crashes or doesn't open correctly there is still a process running and it won't let you open it.Originally posted by Pat View PostYeah, I never change what folders I am installing to.

With this issue, no question is dumb. And yes, I have rebooted several times.Originally posted by Andrew View PostYeah I'm not sure how much I can help. I might try and get a copy of XP and use my computer as dual boot. It should run on XP without any issues...fucking Vista.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
