Today I was playing with the Hitting Stats for Pitchers....

      Fun Facts:
      - Dunmore Theodore has the most HITS, RBI, 3B and Ks as a hitter of all Pitchers.

      - Theodore and Russ McEvoy are the only Pitchers (who meet the AB guideline) with a BA over .200

      - Pitchers are 16 for 28 in STEAL ATTEMPTS

      - Renaldo Jorge (MIS) has 5 SB in 6 attempts

      - Only 4-times in BLB History has a Pitcher drawn an Intentional Walk

This utility is both pointless and addictive.

I think that 28-32 area is kind of TBD. I think guys in there are still relatively early in their career and still need to do a lot more.

For example, just on my team.... O'Hegarty (29), Poling (28) and Nino (32). Nino is the closest (as he should be) but all three have to put up 5-7 more All-Star caliber seasons to even be in the discussion.

Yeah, I think you're right. Zamora somehow has 20, and he shouldn't even be in the same universe.

They can be at 30 HOF, but trust me, it takes a lot to get those extra 20 points. The first 30 are pretty much cake for a good player. The last 20 points are extremely difficult.

The season that Kuramochi had in 1978 will never, ever, be replicated in the BLB. And he did it at 36 years old.

Reyes had a nice 3/4 of a season, but we have seen better.
He was on pace to hit .365-.370 with 40 home runs and 120-130 RBI....other than Kellum and Keppel I can't think of anyone who had a better season than that. Plus the nostalgia factor that he was the first DL Stout Slugger.

The only reason you're so against him is because he played for my team, which is why you won't vote for EG, Buzzell, Abe, or any of the HOF caliber players that played for me at some point.

                      • Cool new feature for the "last sim" utility that I think you guys will like:

                        http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...atOfTheDay.php

Stat of the Day. Inspired by BB-Ref's blog and some friends in the PBRL, StatsLab's Stat of the Day is enabled in the Last Sim module and will provide a daily unique statistical insight into your league. The page will change daily, and there are 183 different SOTD's, so it'll be 6 months real-time before you start seeing the same ones again.

                        Some examples include the following:
                        - Most Home Runs by Age
                        - Most Walks in a Season by Batter Height
                        - Highest Number Of Team Runs Scored Relative to League
                        - Most Career Wins Without Being An All-Star
                        - Most Earned Runs Without Allowing An Unearned Run
                        - More Walks Than Hits In A Season
                        - Highest Percentage of Team Runs Knocked In By One Batter

                        • This is awesome!

Pedro Eires has played in 1500+ games without appearing in the posteseason!

It also has player's birthdays, including retired ones. Really neat
