As I watch, this team is assuming the identity of the 2006 Mets. The lead is now down to 5 games. I also now have 3 against Dallas and 3 against Hartford in the next sim. Oh, then we play Maine for 3.
This is going to end poorly :) -
Holy jesus, there are some ridiculous stats this year. Nickell notwithstanding, look at K/BB ratio of Denver Brode.Comment

Damn, Nickell got injured this sim. He's stuck at 30 games on his hit streak. He'll be back in two weeks, but who knows if he'll be in the same rythm once he returns.Philly Freedom

We're done for. Our entire team has just mailed it in. The starting staff is an embarrassment the past month and just when I think they can't collapse any more, they do. 1st to about last in a month. Eddie Taylor has been a free agent bust, he's now demoted to mop up duty. 5-2, and we're alone in first by a game.
This game absolutely drives me nuts with the bullpens sometimes. In both games I lost, for some reason we decided to bring in our #4 middle reliever in a tie game and a one run game as the first man out of the pen.
