Swept Virginia in a sim done by Clay. THat means we must have been 15-0 against them before Clay got sick of resimming.

After sucking all year we're now 9-3 in the last two sims. Ruining our chances at a good pick.

Another winning week for the Tobs, 4-2. Blew a game in the Pittsburgh series that could have made it a 5-1 week, but I can't complain too much.

The Bock Division is tightening up, but I have to figure my team's hot streak is about to end.

          3-3

          vs. Sin City 2-1
          vs. Miss 1-2

          Good

          - The hot/cold Cam Mills was hot...7 IP, 1 RA, 4 K's...another win.
          - LaVergne is my new man crush. He hit .318 and is now batting .313 on the year.
          - Finbow cracked another HR...I hate myself for not moving him up sooner.

          Bad

          - Any week where Athey pitches twice you figure will be a good week...not so much when he goes 0-2, 11 IP, 8 ER.
          - Uchiyama has been a complete failure...he's going on trade waivers.
          - I hate minor league injuries with no DL. My A ball team has Ednams, Reyna, and Park all hurt plus AA has Gibson...basically all my prospects.

Porter did alright in his first start in Harrisburg...4 innings, 2 earned, 5 K's with 62 pitches. I'm debating calling him up to help Allentown's playoff run since it says he's ready for AAA, but I'm on the fence.

                2nd 1 - 5 sim in a row.

We couldn't hit our way out of a wet paper bag.

SS John "Brittle Bones" Brenton strained his back while running the bases. 6-Week injury. Guess who's option I won't be exercising after the season.

Guardamagni gets saddled with a loss because of 5 errors and a passed ball. (My 6/5/6 catcher had 2 Es AND a PB that game.)

MR Gary Closson is making me crazy. On the whole his ratings and stats are pretty good. The problem is he pitches great one outing and absolutely shitty the next. He cost me another W this sim.

I hope SP Gervasio Dealba doesn't own any guns. Yet ANOTHER hard luck loss due to zero run support...LITERALLY ZERO run support.

It's not looking like the furry pigs will be surprising anyone at the end of the season this year.

Got some guys back off the DL and readjusted some strategy and still go 1-5.

Glad to see things are looking up.

                    3-3 sim

Manny Puerias is quietly putting together a season that might get him some Pale Ale votes. Don Leonard needs to work on his control but is otherwise pitching well.

Chaim Lamberts only seems to hit well in the grand confines of Mississippi- he's seriously only produced while with the Storm even though I've traded him three times.

Speaking of old guys, Latham and Sammarano are doing a nice job in the middle of the lineup. Next sim will be nice because I can call up some minor league guys since none of my teams will be in the playoffs. I might even give one of the call-ups significant playing time- stay tuned!

Are we going to sim 8 days next sim to get to September 1st? I'm sure there's a few teams that would like to make some September callups with the expanded roster.

Ok, no more interleague play ok? Ouch. I think Dante Geake is about done. His age has finally caught up to him. He's still a decent lower rotation guy, but he's fading fast.
