It's good to see Nino got the nod at 3B, though it was expected.

I was hoping to see Nick Latham make the cut to give me two members of the team but I'm guessing he'll be on the bench. He had to be one of the top omissions on this list.

      Over Kellum, Woodbury or Campo?

It certainly wouldn't have been unreasonable to give an OF spot to someone other than Kellum. He only had 2 good years in which he played in the OF and one of those he was limited to less than 350 ABs. A lot of people would probably expect more than that from someone represtenting the league over a 10 year period.

Again... the whole concept of the team is that it's people who represent the first 10 seasons of the BLB. If they just chose based on who had the best numbers it would be pointless to even post the team because people could just look it up themselves.

Based on that criteria... I don't know how you could have a list and not have the BLB's 1st and only Hall of Famer and two-time Stout Slugger.

I wasn't arguing Latham should have been chosen over Kellum, just merely stating that he has to be one of the top players omitted from the starting lineup. It's a close call to keep him off.

Agreed. Latham has somewhat quietly put up some of the best numbers in BLB History.

Good stuff Clay. Thanks to the committee for putting this together.

DL will go up this evening. It's written. The DL Positional Players are quite a group.

I think the IL Starting Pitchers and the DL Positional Starters are the most impressive units.

Looking forward to it. Being late to the league, I can't wait to see the 20th anniversary groups. Should be fun.

The pitchers from the league with no DH and the hitters from the league with the DH.

                      Makes sense.
