            Awkward week for Denver.

Get swept by Maine and then turn around to sweep Hartford to close the WC gap.

Los Alamos beats Wilmington on a walk-off BALK!

Tie game, bottom of the 9th. Bases loaded, 1-out and the pitcher balks on an 0-1 count!

I watched the replay of the game and after the first batter reached in the 9th he was PR for and the pitcher threw over to first 4x. On one of the throws the play-by-play mentioned that they thought the move was illegal. Not something I've ever seen before.

BTW, why is the pitcher worried about the runners with the bases loaded?

                Would that be a Balk-off?

Well I might be overreacting just a bit. We're still 15 games over .500 and six games up in the Porter.

                        5-2 Sim
                        0-1 @ Baltimore
                        2-1 @ Los Alamos
                        3-0 @ Windy City

                        The Good
-Dave Robbins has started to play much better. In the month of July he is hitting .273, with three HRs and a .964 OPS. Hopefully he doesn't put up numbers again like in May and June.
-R.A. Grounds had his best week of the season. 8/27, three doubles, two HRs, six RBI, .997 OPS.

                        The Bad
-SP Ryan Vest will miss a week due to an oblique strain.
                        -That's pretty much it.

                        The Disabled
-CF Michio Nago is out for 1-2 weeks still but will be back on the roster after this sim!
-MR Chad Williams is still out three weeks but his replacements have done fine.

Yeah bummer, probably not time to start the rebuilding project yet but one more 3-4 sim like that and it probably will be. Fortunately you'll still have time as the trade deadline is not until Tuesday.

I was joking. I'm going to win the divison going away.

I know you are and I was too. If I somehow get lucky and make the playoffs too, I imagine you'll advance to the finals in about 5 games.
