  • How are your rule V guys doing?

For those of us that did take guys in the Rule V draft, how are they doing?

    For me...

1st round pick, Cristofor Villazon, SP from Windy City
    5 GS, 2-3, 34.2 IP, 2.34 ERA, 32K/12BB, 24 H, and 1 CG.

2nd round pick, Oliver Gansvoort, SP from Maine
Is in the spot start/mopup role, and has only pitched .2 innings.

3rd round pick, Joe Jaureguy, RP from Maine
4.2 IP, 2 hits, .86 whip, no ER, 1 win. Lefty specialist.

I might end up sending Ganesvoort back to the Guides, and Jaureguy hasn't done anything too special thus far, but Villazon has been amazing. He is leading my team in strikeouts and he is my #5 starter!
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

My 1st round pick, SP Eric Reese, is 2-2 with a 4.37 ERA, which is solid. My 2nd round pick, RP Frank Davis, has 1 save but also has a 6.75 ERA. He hasn't pitched that many innings though.

Looks like I made a mistake in letting Jaureguy go. My scouts didnt really like him, but I probably should have given him a shot, especially considering I still have empty 40 man slots. Won't make that mistake again.
