Headington has turned out to be exactly what I thought he'd be. I drafted him and Lacy in the same draft as my OF's of the future with Danny Nelson. Traded Headington first because I thought he was a Rob Deer and I could find that again in the draft. To his credit, he got the Deer power and BA, but he does strikeout a little less than I thought he would.

I think everyone that hasn't voted should vote for Joe Alvarez of Philly to be part of the bullpen.

And also, don't vote for any California pitchers.

          Kthnx.

Part of the problem is that he's just horrendous against lefties. He'd be so awesome if the entire world was right-handed. Either way, I'm very pleased with him, Garcia and Washington. All of these guys are growing up. BTW, I think I only have 2-3 players left from the roster I got midway through '83. Its almost, finally all my team, good and bad.

He would look real good playing LF and hitting 5th behind Poling.

And why no California pitchers? Conan Wilkerson, Julian Rodriguez, Joe Negron and Roman Magueu are all having greath seasons.

Don't vote for their batters either.

I think they've all had terrible years and should sit at home and rest and reflect on their crappy first half.

Yeah and No... My park is far more lefty friendly (which is why I chose to deal him first).... plus... my entire stategy for building my offense has been based around (a) getting on base (b) speed and (c) taking advantage of the gaps at my park. Headington doesn't really fit any of those. Yes, I'd start him right now if he was on my team... but I'm not sure he'd be a long term solution. There's also too many good lefty starters in the IL and the Stout...

True. Headington is half the player on the road.

I don't have any good lefty starters.

I'd like to know who didn't vote for Martin Carlton.

I need the money, so start voting Millers.

I may have, but I forget as well. I know I at least contemplated picking him.

Its funny I'm not the only one that sees one of my guys get a vote and wonder if the rest of the league will think I'm the one that voted for him, lol.

Why not write some articles? I did that a few years ago to pick up some extra cash.
