No MAX, but you can't just slop together 2 sentences and get credit for it.

No max? And they pay 250K?

So everyone, in theory, should have $20 mill cash every year?

I'm shocked Nickell was left off 4 ballots so far. I thought Xi would have a few more votes as well, but he's pretty far down in the list to scroll to.

The three starting OFs in both leagues are pretty much locked up.

              ---

How do injuries work for the All-Star game? Team still gets the funds, player is selected, but another player is brought on by the managers?

Michio Nago is hurt, but he is a sure All-Star.

The player has to be voted in for that to happen.

If he's not a fan vote... there's no way he'd be on the team because a manager would never waste a pick on an injured player.

                  Very true.

Well, hopefully he gets voted in because he definitely deserves to go.

Yeah, I usually stop paying attention when I get down to about the esses; unless I have a player at that position whose name starts with a letter after that, of course.

I just like the fact that McCoy was a Rule V pick for me and he is playing as well as he is. All-Star or no I am very pleased.

Not sure who voted for Molenza but that had to have been a mistake...he's having a very down year.

I was surprised that Diaz wasn't unanimous, he's had a great year. Also surprised Guzman wasn't unanimous.

As far as the IL SS debate I went with Solis. I thought his combined numbers made him a good selection...not to say the other guys weren't worthy but overall I just liked his numbers.

Maybe whomever voted for Molenza can't remember who is who, Melgoza vs. Molenza and they wanted to make sure the one having a good year (Melgoza) got his vote.

Guzman wasn't unanimous because he probably stiffed someone's kid on an autograph request and now they hold a grudge.

I'm pretty sure all three are All-Stars.

I don't know who the other person that voted for Jayson McQueen was (IL Reliever), but good eye. I expected him to get a little more love than he got. He's pitching a ton of games/innings and posting pretty gaudy K totals for a reliever. I didn't expect him to make the team, but I figured he'd get more than 2 votes.
