They really only need to agree on a draft pick.

why does the trade need to be renegotiated? it was completed, lavadie went to wilmington, then he got injured. that's just bad luck.

EDIT: my bad. didn't see the last post in the trade thread. don't we have a thread to keep track of traded picks ;)

Closer turned Starter, Luca Marciano threw a no-hitter in AAA and is now possibly ready for the majors.

Marciano had 28 saves in the past two years while pitching in A and AA ball. This year is his first season as a starter in the minors and he is 9-3 with a 1.91 ERA.

He has now given up only 10 earned runs in his last 10 starts (2 in the last 5 games).

And he's only 20 years old.

          2-1 vs. Indy
          2-1 vs. Syracuse

          The Good
-The signing of Russ McEvoy looks better everyday. In 12 starts for the Bats, McEvoy has 11 quality starts. Only one start a week in the six-man rotation, adding seven scoreless innings and six strikeouts this sim.

          The Bad
-My bullpen is filled with talent but they are 9th worst in the IL, with a 4.38 ERA. I'm sending down former setup man Zoilo Lambarria and calling up Caleb Alston. The closer down in Triple-A, Alston has 21 Ks in 17 IP, with a 1.02 ERA and .68 WHIP.

          The Injury
-Nago is out eight weeks. Starting in his place will be switch-hitting Larry Fitzsymons. The 25-year-old has been a starter in the past. He has a lot of range in center, fast on the basepaths and is good for a .275 average. A decent leadoff option, I will likely hit 9th.

The trade ended up being valid. So no worries.

If there is pitcher slated to come off the DL in 4 days can Andrew take him off in the middle of the week?

Lillie is eligible to come off now. You can just move him from the DL to your rotation even though he is still hurt.

Oh ok. I don't have the game right now, my PC is broken and my wife has a Mac that I'm not allowed to put sports games on. Sims 3 can be played on here, but no sports.

Either way good to know because I need him back...BADLY.

Install it anyways. It's easy to remove when you get your PC back, its not like on a Windows machine where it buries stuff all over the place. Just delete the one folder and its gone.

Plus, the OOTP 9 trial version on the Mac never runs out! I actually bought it, but have never put in the registration code and it still works fine.

Yeah, I saw that. I was just kidding anyway. I am sure that nice guys like you and and Chubby (probably) would have come to an amicable solution anyway. In the cutthroat atmosphere of my pre-BLB-gaming environment, something like that could have resulted in some real nastiness though.

                            California Kodiaks (37-27)

                            0-3 vs. Mississippi

                            2-1 vs. Sin City

                            The Good
                            - Robby Shannon continues to rake. Up to .365/.437/.679/1.116 with 21 HR/51 RBI and a 41.1 VORP. Currently leads the IL in .avg and HR's, second in RBI's. Could a triple crown be in Shannon's future?

                            - Joe Toapanta goes 1-1 this week in two starts. Only gave up 3 ER in 15 IP.

                            - Harry Elliott did OK in his first week as a Kodiak. Hit .250 but walked six times and hit a grand slam.

                            - The crowd! In our six game homestand we got an amazing average of 34,035 per game!!! I know that doesn't sound like much to most, but those are massive crowds in Cali.

                            The Bad
                            - 2-4 on a home stand. We just haven't played well this year at home. We're 17-18 now. Gotta pick that up if I want to contend for the Porter title.

                            - Alberto Grandon. A week after earning a hot streak, he hit himself into a cold streak by going 2/26.

                            - Juan Carlos Ramírez, another bad sim for the 21 year old RF. He was sent back to AAA after the sim and that's where he'll stay. He's not quite ready for primetime.

                            - Extra inning losses. Three in one week. Not fun.

Next Week: 3 @ Virginia, 3 vs. Wilmington

I'm moving Shannon from the 3 spot to the 4 spot to try and increase his RBI total.

Lets hope it doesn't mess with his hitting mojo.
