If you think that it is only happening to you it's because you don't follow other teams and the rest of the league close enough.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

The kids are hitting. This make shift staff is doing a heck of a job. 6-1 sim.
Of course, now that my team is winning ball games the injury bug finds it's way to Denver.
Losing Sanchez (how is this not surprising) for a month is going to hurt. He was one of my most productive bats. Good thing Higgins is around to help with that load (aka future Denver SS).
If Seltzer continues to rip up AAA, he'll find his way back to the show. Then there's the former Mississippi outcast, MR Adrian Romero, who struggled in the spring and in the first month but has not given up an earned run in nearly 10 innings of relief in AAA. If he can bring that confidence to Denver, that's another strong young bullpen arm to compliment Goree, Rice (who is better than that ERA), Sierra and Kimura.
Since starting 10-16, Denver has gone 18-7. Nice turn around in May.Last edited by Carlos; 07-02-2009, 03:35 PM.Denver Bulls

Howard Haydon
Curt Goodwin

So there you have 2 star players, a guy who previously had #1-#2 potential, and a decent reliever prospect, all take a ratings hit. Then guys like Noke and Lang magically turn bad, and Gremades turns into a bench player. Then nearly all of your 1st round picks flame out and take ratings hits randomly. Then you have one of the 2 best teams in the playoffs for 3 straight years and just magically start playing bad and lose in the 1st round each time. You can't improve because noone trades with you. It's so much stress.

I traded with you. :) And Carlon has been damn good.
Maybe more people would trade with you if you played your cards a little tighter to the vest.
When you say f this guy, he's gone today... no one is going to offer you much for them. Plus, I'm a firm believer that in this league if you want to make a deal, you have to approach the other person with initial offer in hand. The trade blocks are nice, but they don't drive action. The Great One!

Look... I'm not trying to be your Guidance Counselor, but if life sucks for you... don't bring it here. I don't want to speak for anyone and everyone else, but this is escape for most people. A nice little fun break from the day. If this league is adding MORE stress to your life, maybe it's time to step away. The Great One!

I'm sorry that life at DeGrassi isn't grand right now... but please keep it out of the BLB.The Great One!
