      Holy fuck.

Anyway, 3-3 which is alright. Lost 2 of 3 from Indy and took 2 of 3 from Syracuse. I need another good starter really fucking bad.

        UNbelievable.

Finally a good sim 5-1. Roughed up our old closer Simmonds for 4 run 9th capped by Kirby's 445 ft walk off homer. What a lift. Let's hope we heat it up big here.

We got a long way to go, but it's a nice start.

Swept Maine and took 1/3 against Hartford

Latham comes back in 5 weeks, this offense will really start clicking then. Don Leonard might be coming up sooner rather than later too.

                    Third straight winning sim.

                    We'll take it.

                      2-4

There are some bright spots though.

                        2-4.

                        Good

My pitching is strong for the most part. We had a team ERA of 2.64 for the week.

                        Bad

My hitting is atrocious. We had a team batting average of .205 for the week, with 16 BB's and 45 strikeouts.

                        Summary

I pray that some of the guys I drafted the last 2 years turn into something good. We can't afford good batters in FA and that is our only hope to ever compete. Of course by the time they do that my pitching staff will be FA's.

Took 2 of 3 from both Sin City and Mississippi. Back to .500 ball after the odd 0-6 start. Still don't have that much faith...yet.

I love that the DL is like #1 - Dalas.... then like an 11 team race for #2.

                              2 - 4

                              The Good

Let me get back to you on this . . .

                              The Bad

Offense was inept once again, .209/.305/.262 (how in the world can a team put up a .262 SLG%? Well, 8 XBH in 6 games is a good start). 2B Desi Rochs will be back from the DL next week so maybe his return to the top of the lineup can start getting things back on track.

The pitching wasn't much better. #5 starter Dave Sievewright can remove the #5 starter label. We can't afford to keep putting him out there (7.65 era, 2.25 whip, 4.0 IP/per start). We weren't expecting great starts from him, but we did at least want him to keep us in games.
