Not only that, but the kid has said he should be playing in the majors since the beginning of the season at AA.
I'm willing to bet that even if he struggles, he'll put up a better OBP than Grandon's .255.Last edited by Lintyfresh85; 07-24-2009, 01:01 PM.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

SP Don 'Husk' Leonard
The 10th overall prospect in the BLB is making his much awaited debut for the Mississippi Storm this week. Leonard, the #1 overall pick from the 1986 draft has been "possibly ready for the BLB level" for the past two months. Over those past two months, he has struck out 59 in 39.2 innings.
Leonard debuted in Double-A, immediately after the draft, and struckout 15 batters in his first game. The kid has probably been ready to face BLB hitters since 1986, but with Spectre out of town I wanted to make sure that he was ready.
The Storm currently have the best record in the Lager division but the starting pitching has been below average. Currently sporting a 4.31 ERA as a group, 7th best in the DL. While the bullpen is the best in the DL, the rotation needs a boost to keep this lead down the stretch. I think Leonard will immediately become the Storms best pitcher for the 2nd half.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Yeah, I see that.
I'm home today and looked over your team after you indicated that Good was coming up. I agree, he is your best available option if you want to bench Grandon. According to my scout, Good's ratings suggest that he is at least almost BLB ready. I'm surprised you left him in AA after he made the all-start team there last season though.
You look like you are paper thin in the infield and will really be hurting if either Steward or Mendez goes down for any length of time. I'd definitely be working the phones to see if I could at least pick up a decent utility guy before the deadline if I were you.

As with most baseball books it's an approach. He just uses the numbers in ways that make it feel like it is THE approach.BLB
