3-3. Swept Indy, swept by Syracuse. My team ERA is sky high... 2 players with 100+ ERA's.. hahaha. The 2nd game vs. Syracuse, we give up 11 runs in the bottom of the 7th which turned a 7-1 lead into a 12-7 deficit :( The following game, we give up 9 runs in the 7th and 8th innings to lose 12-5... just brutal.
Next sim vs the seemingly unbeatable Maine and the no-win Hartford...

Two 2-1 series to start off. 4-2 overall. Bullpen did everything it could to lose every game except closer Joe Alveraz who picked up 4 saves in 4 wins.
Lost my RF Ibison for 8-9 weeks with a strained ACL.Philly Freedom

Week in Review:
3-0 vs. Morgantown
1-2 vs. Virginia
We handled Morgantown pretty well, 2 shutouts. However, the backend of our pitching rotation needs some serious work.
Hey Clay did you like that 14th inning walk off by Harcourt? TALK ABOUT DRAMA!!!

Yea, Pretty much. I'm really liking Todd too. His performance this week was decent.

Didn't even realize that was Marlon Todd... didn't think he'd be up already. Yeah, I like that kid.
The Harcourt homer was one of many you'll see in that park. I think my AI had McSwain in a little too long... but:
1-0: SOLO HOME RUN (Flyball, 9LD), Distance : 317 ft
When you only need to go 317... not much you can do.
At least the next day when my team played HR Derby at your place... we didn't take cheap ones...
Poling in the 1st: 3-2: GRAND SLAM HOME RUN (Line Drive, 78XD), Distance : 392 ft
Llombart in the 2nd: 1-1: SOLO HOME RUN (Flyball, 7D), Distance : 356 ft
Artie Rhodes in the 5th: 2-2: 2-RUN HOME RUN (Flyball, 8RXD), Distance : 417 ft
Llombart (again) in the 6th: 2-1: 2-RUN HOME RUN (Flyball, 9LD), Distance : 322 ft
Well... OK... one cheap one... ;)The Great One!
To many rings to count...

I hope Al Fleming is as good as my scout expects, plus Manny should be back next month so I'm crossing my fingers that an "arthritic elbow" doesn't hurt his ability.

317 is a long ball down left in 50% of the parks in the league. At least we've got "The Blue Monster" (60 Feet) to protect us some.

For some reason when I try and load the new file it gets stuck on "creating picture" of Tino Suarez. I can't recall ever even seeing this step during loading before. It's after loading messages and after the loading bar gets to 100%. Any one else ever have this problem?Charlotte Knights - OSFL

Gagne has turned into pure crap. I'm seeing remnants of Jerry Dean except without all the brilliance prior to this great fall and me lucking out by trading Dean away before he hurt my feelings. Goodness Gagne.
But, the kids can hit. Borkholder is said to be BLB ready so I'm not sure what's wrong with him, but he has no more real developing to do in the minors. Both OSA and my scout say he's a strong hitter. He has been a slow starter before so we'll see.
Dane Browning is just a hitter. It's like he said to himself, after hitting .291 in A ball: "Never again under .300. Never. Again."
Al-Sadat won't be this good all year, but he's good. Seagarra hasn't even taken a walk, but it seems he's hitting everything to start the season. Even Zamarida is batting under .200 but hitting the ball so hard he has an OPS near .800. That's good.
I've waited for Seltzer forever. I remember when he was 16, a baby in A ball. And he moved up fast, getting to AAA by the time he was 18. Now he's 21 and mashing in the big leagues.
I'm really liking this future infield. If Kip Higgins can really be as good as advertised, Sanchez might be on his way out at short.
Now to hope Montero can at least be a .250 hitter that swipes 60 bases and plays excellent centerfield (once he comes off the DL) and to find a rightfielder between Blair, Anastaclo, and Pargas.
Oh and that rotation. Waiting for the kids. Waiting.Last edited by Carlos; 06-17-2009, 01:54 PM.Denver Bulls
