I forgot to set my "spring training" lineups, so I had all my starters playing full time. Luckily noone got hurt, that could have been bad.
I've never done anything different for ST (other than maybe try some different combinations)....should I be doing something?
I basically have 1 backup for each position and they start every other day, also a 6 man strict rotation, and my entire pitching rotation is completely filled out.
I basically follow this format, except for maybe the pitching staff. I like to use the same rotation, since the AI already handles pitchers in spring training pretty good.
I mainly do this to avoid injuries, but it isn't bad to just try different combos as well, but I generally don't like all my starters playing regularly in spring training.
The good news for Serma is that he was about to go on the block, but now he gets his job back. All I can hope is that we have enough to make it to the post season ans maybe Hoover can come back just in time.
I've been pretty lucky with injuries. Thanks for turning them up Andrew.
