I'm not buying Robbins. I just have a bad feeling he's lost it. 15 HRs tops.

(NOTE: Me "not buying" Robbins all but locks in a Stout Slugger season)

I think he has lost a step...but he is still at the end of his prime years...I will give him a few days off throughout the season...as long as he stays healthy...or relatively healthy...25+ has to be a lock.

It pains me to say it but I go with the VA guys each time. Robbins is done.

Don't bet on Nelson... he probably won't start all year... but I'd bet on Poling.

Did Nelson take a huge ratings hit in the past year for you? My scout thinks he should be selling peanuts at games.

Done? He is 32 and OSA has him as the #11 best hitter. I think he will be fine.

No. But his ratings have never been good since the new scouting system. Hell, even in the old scouting system he really only had good power.

It's weird cause he was a rookie all the way back in '79, but I honestly think he's still "unmasking". I think he's better than the ratings.

He had a pretty poor 1986.

He is a strange case...Giggas was involved...

Agreed. I think he's definately on the decline(ish). I think all of those day-to-day injuries over the year are catching up and becoming multi-week injuries.

He's still an underrated defensive OF... just one year removed from an ASG start... and Extremely Popular locally. I would venture a guess that he will be a Colonial as long as he's playing the game. By the time his skills dip to the point that I let him go, he'll likely not catch on anywhere else.
