Those two auto picks and Maines were really good. Including #1, #3 on my board, and the #1 SP on my board.
For me, Garcia was 33 potential
    Mahaffy was 43 potential
    Stoll was 42 potential
Not much SP left, and getting guys in the low to mid 40s at this point is good picking.
I have one sleeper SP left... one of my scouts have him rated at 57 (although the average is 42)...

      • Half of my scouts were pretty high (3 over 56) on Keith Bailey while the others were.. middle of the road. The average was around 47.

The average for me, from my better scouts, was in the upper 30's. I had one guy scout him at 61, another at mid 40, and two 30s.

Based on my scouts, that's a great pick :)

            • My top pitching scout had him at 57, I was looking at him for my pick possibly. Overall average of my 4 scouts was 46. I think there's still some solid players out there.

              • Wow, I actually got the #1 guy on my board. I figured that he'd be gone for certain and that I'd be getting one of my fallback picks.

If you don't mind the share, how did your scouts view Brody Whiteley? My composite average was 49 with a top rating of 69 so I definitely couldn't pass that up in the 4th.

Range from 38 to 67. My top 2 scouts had him at 44.

BTW, jmw, that's a great pick on Gomez. He was my #6 overall pitcher. My top 2 scouts (rating 8 on pitching scouting) had him rated at a 57 and 58... and would've been my next pick.

My scouts average was 40 with a top rating of 56 and as low as 22.

                      • What do your guys scouts think of Shipp?

Wasn't sure who to take at this point, but a lot of my scouts were high on him.

                          • Shipp ranged from 26 to 74! Average of 48. But that 74 scout has a hitting scout rating of 4 :( My two top hitting scouts had him at 47 and 48.

Thanks...I was torn between him and a couple others. I'd be happy if he turns into a #5 starter!

Shipp was a solid pick according to my scouts. I already have 2 potential 1B in the minors so I was more interested in other positions. He was one my draft list for this past round.
