              • HAHA, just made my pick. He's a guy that I had as a sleeper, and didn't think he would drop this far. Hopefully my scouts aren't complete idiots, lol.

Nice. Most of my scouts have him at mid-30's, but one scout has him at 71!

                  • I like the scout who had him at 71. Can I have his phone number.

                    • Had a tough time with this pick as well.

There was three really good guys I wanted to be available at this pick and all three were there. I went with Ezequiel Covtreras. He is knuckle ball starting pitcher. Maybe the BLB's version of Tim Wakefield?

Wonder what you guys think of him? I was going to risk seeing if he would be around when my 3rd round pick is up, but he was too good to pass on.

                      • Andrew,

Don't forget that Dallas and I swapped picks in the 2nd round. I took Gilbert at 7, Dallas took Ostorga at 13. I noticed in your summary that it's reversed.

My scouts had him somewhere between 25 and 50. If there's any consolation, my two best pitching scouts had him at 50 and 49.

There was a few guys I had rated a bit above him, he was actually 5th or 6th on my board, but with the scarcity of SP, in the draft and in the league, I took him a little early. My scouts had him averaging in the 40-50 range. And he is a knuckleballer, which could be fun!
