Not screwin' around. Locked up Nino for 4-years at what I feel will be a fair price for his numbers.

Good signing for Maine of Will Porter. I think he's underrated and will help Maine.

Yeah we needed help in the OF and he fit the need at a reasonable price.

I think Carolina got a big steal in Delclos.

He always seemed like a pitcher that would thrive much better in the IL than the DL.

If he lowers his walks just a bit, he could be deadly in the 3-4 spot for the Tobs.

Yeah, possibly the best per dollar signing this offseason so far.

Hmmmm... Aurillo really took a cheap package to resign. Wonder if that means anything.... hmmmm.

I almost wonder if there's a glitch in the player evaluation AI that occurs during the offseason when a player was out for the year. Charlie Maccabe took about a $10 mil paycut for me. I wasn't even planning on bringing him back until I saw how little he would sign for.

It means he either likes Philly and the direction we're going or his arm is about to fall off and he's going to need to start pitching right handed.

Maybe. Wilton Harcourt's demands went down $7.0 from what he wanted last season to resign and what he wants in FA. I just assumed that that had something to do with an extension vs free agent contract.

I was able to get Alec Lewis to re-sign for what I thought was a steal. He had a down '86 so either he's washed up or he was willing to take the extension at a lower price since he had a down year...I'm hoping it's the latter.

I hope so. My scout likes him for that price and he's put together some solid seasons. Now he comes back to where he started in the BLB so long ago. Never imagined that when I let him go the first time.

Exactly how I felt about Nick Latham.
