    • I believe the Draft hits in-game sometime during this week of sims (I think Thursday), so please try to monitor the board to get through this last round. I'm going to AUTO folks as close to the deadline as possible to make sure we get it done.

      Thanks

      • It's the 10th round...everyone should be on auto from list and/or auto draft.

        Unless you're Diesel.

            • I have 2 people on my list but for Round 9 it was auto'd and picked some bum not from my list. I have it set as auto from list.

Can this be corrected please? My 2 list guys are still there as of now.

                • That's it, Boys!

We're to 10.24 which is the last pick in the draft which I believe Andrew can't make or it screws up the Utility (he makes it in game).

                  Good job!!!

                    • So...how did everyone do?

None of my picks were top 100, but I also didn't have a 1st this year (traded for Dave Robbins.)

On top of that, only two of the players I drafted, made my organization top 20:
2.11 - OF Hector Gomez, debuts at #11
4.3 - OF Miguel Angel Sanchez, debuts at #12

Pretty poor if you ask me.

                      • My 2nd round pick, 2B Manny Diaz, cracked the top 100 but my first round pick didn't. My last two drafts haven't been very good.

                          So far so good.

Four of my picks made the top 40 including both of the pitchers I chose with my first two picks and 3 of my other picks made the top 100. I think the only other pitcher to make the top-100 list was Carolina's 10th round pick. I also added a couple of relievers that I like, one of whom is ready for AAA according to my in-game minor league system report.

I am not sure how stable this is at this point but if it holds up until the off season, I'll be tempted to shop Alsina's contract to see if I can free up some cash for free agency.

                          • 3 in the top 100, my first pick "Hack" Wells was voted 2nd best overall and we got him at the end of the first round....he's a Catcher of course.

The other two are 2nd basemen.

Overall got the 23rd, 39th, and 99th respectively.

                              Wow.

Seems like we have one of those guys every year in recent drafts...that catcher that Philly landed in the late 3rd, Don O'Furey, who is now in your system. Wasn't he rated top 25 after the draft...and everyone was asking..."who?"

                              • 1 guy for me...CF Hector Reyna who I took in the 5th. We have 2 people on the Top 100.

The scouting system just plain confuses me. Basically we are married to our scout for life so if they can't judge talent are we screwed?
