I chose SS Jermaine Ednams. I think the Tobs are up.

Did LL pick Don Davis or was that an auto pick?

Nice pick. Scout loves him. #20 on draft list. I was keeping my fingers crossed he would last.

I took MR Doug Hill. I think Dallas is up.

I was surprised to see three 1B go in the first round so far. My scout particularly likes the last one taken, Pat Gates. I had been hoping he would last until the 2nd round.

Good to hear someone else liked Gates. My scout loves him, he was #5 on my board so I'm very happy to see him fall to my pick. He's young and has a ton of developing to do, but if he even comes close to what my scout thinks then he'll be a good one. Of course my scout's history is nothing to write home about.

We had good luck picking a Gates a few years ago so I'm hoping for a repeat of that.

                My scout had him 4-4-5-5-3.

Well, got my scouts #1 rated position player... 2B A.R. Turner. 7-8-4-5-8. But then again my scouting budget couldn't buy a Scion...

Unless either one is taken in that last pick ahead of me I will be in a dilema. Do I take the player thats better? Or the player who plays a position that is more in need for me but only slightly worse?

Well we went with talent. "Hack" Wells joins an all star laden lineage of catchers. He was just too good to pass up. My scout loves him, OSA loves him. Done deal.

I went with SP Doug Howe. I screwed up my scouting budget (only $15,000...don't ask how!) so I guess we'll see if that affected my pick as my scout really liked Howe.
