Color me confused. My scout loved Stevens but had his potentials in the gutter. I couldn't understand it.
Now I'm seeing that his stuff is an 8 (according to Pat's scout). If I remember correctly, his fastball is clocked in at 98-100 mph. I know that OOTP doesn't really take that into account, but I was getting dizzy seeing my scout give him a 5 in stuff and lower ratings in movement and control and still basically yell at me that he's his Number One choice in the draft.
I hope he's right.Denver Bulls

I really wanted to go pitching with this one, but Carmem Chamissa is the best hitting prospect my scout has ever seen. He's got him as 8-8-8-8-8. OSA has him pretty highly ranked as well at a 5-5-6-5-6 so I'm hoping he'll end up somewhere in between.

The Storm take 17 year old 1B Don Castor from California. It's no surprise that my development of offensive talent has been poor at best to date. My farm system is starting to turn itself around and I hope this pick keeps that trend moving.
Castor is rated very highly by my scout and he envisions him as a potential middle of the order hitter in the future with plus, plus power and good contact ability. He's gonna be an interesting player to watch as he's very raw right now. This is always the best time of year in Mississippi!
Hopefully, I'll be able to get as much done draft-wise before I go on my long trip out of country :)

He's young and raw, but my scout sees good things for Castor. "Superior offensive player" . . ." hang onto this kid: . .etc.. Nice offensive pick.Philly Freedom

Syracuse just got the player my scouts thought was far and away the best player in the draft in Jerry Wilson.
