  • Who wins the Porter?

    Porter Division
We have never seen a division come down to the wire quite like this. The final ten games for each team is played within the division. To handicap, I would argue that Baltimore has the easiest non-divisional games, with three in Davenport. However, they play 10 of the final 13 games on the road. Anyways, who you got?

    California Kodiaks 75-74
Remaining schedule: 3 @ Wilmington, 3 vs. Baltimore, 3 vs. Batavia, 4 vs. Philly

    Philadelphia Freedom 74-75
    Remaining schedule: 3 @ Washington, 3 vs. Batavia, 3 @ Baltimore, 4 @ California

    Baltimore Bulldogs 73-76

    Remaining schedule: 3 @ Davenport, 3 @ California, 3 vs Philly, 4 @ Batavia

    Batavia Muckdogs 73-76
    Remaining schedule: 3 vs. Carolina, 3 @ Philly, 3 @ California, 4 vs. Baltimore

I picked my team. I figure we'll go 13-0 over the next two weeks and win the division running away.*

Seriously, though, I think we have a really good chance to pull this out. We're 7-5 vs Carolina, 10-4 vs. Batavia and 7-8 vs both Cali and Philly. If my starters come out like they are capable of and i take Pettiford out of the pen, I like our chances.

Only problem is that you are terrible on the road.

10 in a row to finish the year at home.

            I'm pretty good at home.

              I voted California.

The winner of the Porter plays the winner of the Stout...

That would be a good series 6-6 for the regular season.

The Kodiaks would not win a game.

I'm going Batavia, the dark horse.

Then they'll eliminate me from the playoffs. That team owns me.
