Rule 5 draft

I know anyone we take in it has to stay on our active roster for the entire next season...does the computer automatically send the player back the original team if the player doesn't stay on the active roster?

I believe it does, but we havnt really been able to test this. There was a bug with last years Rule 5 draft that caused the player to be released by the drafting team. I had to manually move him back, after which he didn't have the Rule 5 status attached to him.
