How did you get him from Denver? The transaction log doesn't say. He was drafted by Dallas in December but played for you the next year.

Meh, wouldn't even be my 5th starter. Could use him in the bullpen though.

He will use that as motivation when he is pitching game 7 of the ILCS in Chicago.

We'll, as in you and I? Or just the Playgirls?

We won't make it. Not unless we shut out everybody. Which is possible since we can go to a 4 man rotation, and put our 5th starter in the pen.

But we can't score runs since Burgett went down.

My team hasn't been as good with Nago done for the year either...

I'm scared to face Wilmington...if they make it.

He's not the best, but Rayford Winchel has been a very nice surprise for me from the Rule V draft.

1980 Rule V pick from Davenport.

                        Career numbers:
                        155.8 VORP
                        73-65
                        3.87 ERA
                        1.28 WHIP
                        182 starts, 1227 IP
                        Had a great year in 83: 18-7, 2.44 ERA, 1.09 WHIP

He's fallen off this year and I think his run might be over, but still a great value to get in the Rule V.

Frank Davis was a really good closer/setup guy for a few years, but has completely lost his talent as of late. Weird because he's only like 28.

Not quite a superstar but Tom Zimerman was solid for me for quite a few seasons.
