Man! We are SO CLOSE to being a consistent, playoff-caliber team. I was one 2-out triple in the 4th away from maybe being 4 - 2 this sim instead of 3 - 3...AGAIN. Just a few more hits, guys!

Wilmington CF John Gorrie stole 3B and HOME in the same inning against us. WTF?!

        How sweep it is!

Swept Virginia and took 2/3 from Morgantown. In doing so, Virginia passed me in the Co-Commish cup standings. My team is definitely overachieving this year, but its nice to go 5-1 against the IL.

5-1 sim, just in time to ruin my draft position. It's fun seeing the young guys do well though. Carbajal hit another HR while batting .320. Esquivel has been decent since being called up, now hitting .278 this sim.

Shunsen Miyamoto is finally justifying his roster spot. He went 8 1/3 against Davenport, giving up one run while scattering 5 hits.

Tajo Hernandez has also impressed, especially since returning from injury. In his last two starts, Tajo has given up only 4 hits and 2 runs in 10.1 innings. Our rotation is shaping up nicely for 87.

Man do I wish I still had Justin Chewning.

I regret that trade more than any other move I've made.

              1-5. Still tied with Philly.

Watch Baltimore catch and pass both of us.

                4-2!

I would like to thank Linty b/c CL Roger Simmonds recorded his 1st blown save of the year at Pawtucket allowing a 2 run, 2 out HR to tie the game 3-3.

Another 4-2 week which finally has allowed to be out of pie throwing range from the Clowns. 6 games up in the WC with just a month and a half left in the season with Schmitz coming back in 2 weeks.....I won't hold my breath

Still limping along, just trying to play .500 ball or a little better. We do get one starter back this week.

Luis Antonio Ramirez might be having one of the best seasons ever for a starting pitcher...if only he didn't miss so much time to injury. He's 9-1 with a 1.35 ERA. We're gonna need him to stay that way.

We've got an HTML issue, when I click on games from my schedule, it brings up box scores from 1985.

I lost McSwain in this sim and the pen got over taxed. Mississippi took advantage and beat them up for a couple 1 run late wins.

                            Co-Commisioner's Cup looks like this:

                            Morgantown
                            Sin City
                            Pittsburgh
                            Denver
                            Pawtucket
                            Davenport
                            Virginia
                            Baltimore
                            Batavia
                            Mississippi
                            Hyundai

11 teams within 9 games of the bottom. Definately a lot of movement still possible.

The way my team has completely put away their bats this month, I wouldn't be shocked to finish Top 3.
                            The Great One!

                            To many rings to count...
