Interesting. Lost Jack Curry for 13 months with a bicep issue. Fantastic. That means it's time for Chuck Lindsay to come up from AAA to take that spot. Sure hope he's ready. Although a special thanks to Todd Stockton...my MR with an Endurance rating of 2 who managed to pitch 7 innings, 93 pitches, while only giving up 6 hits and 1 run in a W against Pitt. How that is possible I'll never know.

Can you update the utility so we can look at the stats and game logs? Thanks.

4-3 sim. We moved up a game against Philly, but we're still two games back. Our pen has been imploding lately. Hopefully we can hang on for a .500 season.

These injuries are now ridiculous. We're losing more guys here than in the OSFL. Ramirez comes back, pitches great, then gets injured again. Longstreet is not out 3 weeks as well.

We're not gonna make it if we don't get healthy some time. RIght now I feel we're holding on. We just gotta get to the playoffs and hopefully get a full team by then. We're very vulnerable now.

My Single A team (every year) is like a MASH unit. I can't keep people healthy... especially pitchers. I try pitch counts... I try 6 man rotations... I overload the staff (that's what she said).... but I just get killed by injuries. We're going to change our team to the Blacksburg Paramedics.

                    Furry Pig Tales

5 - 2 Sim...I'll take all of those I can get. 3 - 0 Vs Hyundai and 2 - 2 Vs Mississippi. I lost one of those in 13 innings. (A "Tip O' The Hat" to The Storm for outlasting a pretty good Los Lunas bullpen.)

Management also attempted to acquire RP Troy Sisk from Mississippi, but couldn't sweeten the pot enough. So the Javelinas will do the next best thing and call up AAA Reliever Sergio Bela.

                    SP Donato Guardamagni: 11 - 3, 1.72/0.92/.210 with 181 Ks. I'd do him.

SP Ron MacLagan: Continues to pitch like he's got a load in his pants. He could find himself in AAA shortly.

SS John Brenton: He has now managed to play in 14 consecutive games without getting injured. Oh, shit.

1B Vance Miller: Had a day-to-day injury for "Heel Woreness"...So, like...He hurt himself wearing women's shoes? (Maybe he's doing Guardamagni.)

4-3 sim. I feel like the team has made improvements this year. I tinkered with some of my minor league teams a bit to accomodate some new faces. The future is looking alright with Dodson, Leonard, Ferrell, and Guinane in the pipeline.
