I'll throw mine up...
3B - Alberto Grandon - .266/.323/.556, 17/41. I'll come out and say it... last year I felt Grandon was unlucky due to the emergence of Josh Polling. Polling plays 2nd Base now. This year, I think Grandon HAS to be a lock. Among IL 3B he is currently:
1st in SLG
1st in OPS
1st in HR
1st in Runs
1st in XBH
1st in Total Bases
2nd in 2B
3rd in VORP
3rd in RBI's
3rd in OBP
4th in AVG
4th in BB
The man has flat out racked since coming over to Cali. Give the man his due.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

I believe I get to manage this year's IL team, so the Tobs will be well represented.
I will also be accepting bribes to get others on the team.Last edited by liquidcrash; 03-26-2009, 12:21 PM.Washington Bats, 2013-

So... I'm thinking the toughest AND the easiest battle for a spot right now has to be IL First Base....
Dani Alvarez seems like the logical choice.... but what about Jared Kirby? Vincent Nino? Frank Hamlet? Couldn't you make a case for Jim Newlin and Robby Shannon too?
Some really, really solid seasons are going to go unrewarded.
With that... I still think it's Alvarez (1) and probably Kirby (2)... but... I'm not sure. The Great One!
To many rings to count...
