2-4. I guess last sim's hitting was just a fluke as we returned to our usual terrible form this sim. Combine that with awful bullpen work and we let some games slip away. Still first in the wildcard race, but I can't imagine we'll stay that way unless something turns around.

We lost another pitcher for a few weeks. He's nothing special but every sim someone new goes down and we don't have any depth.

You're actually a game behind Morgantown for the WC.

Virginia Colonials (33-31) - 5.0 gb in Stout - 2.0 gb in Wildcard

        2-1 vs Los Lunas
        1-2 vs Hyundai

I'll be perfectly honest... I'm SHOCKED to come out of this week 3-3 with the way my team hit.

As a team we hit .201/.305/.293/.598! That's disgusting!! We had 10 XBH. Took only 26 BBs (K'd 26)! Pitiful! Only one player who appeared in every game hir over .250.

Thank goodness our Starters were pretty good this week or we could have easily gone 0-6.

Magness and Oyos (it's about time Delmar!) pitch back to back gems to open the series with Los Lunas with 7-0 & 3-0 wins. We actually held Los Lunas scoreless for 22 innings. Game 3 we got handled by Guardamagni. Made it look respectable with a couple 9th inning homeruns, but it wasn't that close.

Hyundai came to town and capitalized on a big inning to take us down in Game 1. Jeremiah Wallace out classed us in Game 2... however... Jeff Franklin did pitch well again. I think this kid is going to be OK. Still has #3/#4 type stuff. Just a lot of bad beats. Rubancava and Magness both threw really well in Game 3. Both teams struggled to push runners around. We ended up stealing in in extra innings on a couple key hits and a big outfield assit to gun down a game tieing run.

O'Hegarty moves up the Top Players. Magness makes his debut. Danny Nelson, despite still having another year on his contract, signs an extension and a rock bottom price. I think Nelson's skills are fading, but even if he's the #4 OF from '88-'90, his pop, Extreme Popularity and Defense are worth the 2.3 million.

BA still has us as the #1 Prospects. I think Maeda and Rhodes are definately playing in the BLB next season. Pancho Herrerra is ready for a bump to AA.

We're building something here. Not sure what... but something.

Obviously, that's what I meant to say.

Yeah, I don't like to say it outloud either.

Was the new graphics pack available?

Time for Barrows to go back down, and we'll bring up the next guy. Also decided to make a move at closer and put in Alverez...no the other Alverez.

He's young, but when I made the trade with Maine I envisioned him as a closer...in a few years. But the kids on a tear. Gonna give him a shot to see if he can handle it.

We really miss Ramirez! Still out 4-5 weeks. We're cooling off a little, just don't wanna collapse. This week we gained a game though.
