It's nice to win but STFU if you're going to cry when you don't and go someplace else.
When did I (seriously, in a non joking way) call out the integrity of the league?

    Kthx, chief.

4 - 2 sim. I'll take as many of those as I can get.
3-Game sweep of the Millers (My team just seems to get up for them). Got slammed by 'Cuse, 2 games to 1.

      Highlights
Donato Guardamagni gives up 1 Run on 3 Hits, 1 BB, and 15 Ks in 8.0 IP against Pitt. He continues to quietly occupy a top 5 position among SPs in the league.

1B Vince Miller FINALLY gets his 1st HR of the season. Sheesh...

The benching and demotion of Gary Lippincott may have finally brought him to his senses. I called him up when O'Brien went down with an injury; and he's batting .289 with 7 SB in 12 games.

      Lowlights
LF Ken Cahill is slumping like a Wall Street Analyst.

Los Alamos 3B Miguel Sylvestrie goes down for 3 weeks (sorry to hear that) with a "tired arm". Just what is he doing with that arm between pitches?

3-3 sim, swept by Dallas but then my guys swept Pawtucket, even winning a 17-10 game. Bad news is I lose AA prospect Sammy Homer for the year.

Remember pal, I do have control over the fate of your team in that other league...

For three straight years you've won at least 99 games. I get excited about .500 sims. Some owners think it's a positive year to win 75 games. Everyone else deals with 2-4 sims. Everyone else loses starters for the year. And not everyone gets that fat budget. So quit whining dude. It's one thing to complain about slumping players or wonder why Tom Lang was trash last year and another to act like you have a God-given right and privilege to success in a computer baseball game. You sold your payroll and minors to the devil and now you might be in re-tooling mode. Or your team could still have the talent to turn it around. Who knows. But please, for all of our sakes, for all the lintys and spectres and clays and me who have either never had a winning season or made the playoffs and yet have never said it was ridiculous we were losing or that it wasnt fun anymore, quit whining. Please chill. You don't deserve to win all the time any more than anyone else.
I'll admit I was thinkin' it...

If my team could somehow pull off a sweep of you, we would have the same record after those three games. :)

Virginia Colonials (24-20) - Tied for 1st in Stout

                1-2 @ Philly
                3-0 @ Batavia

15-3 vs the Pilsner... 9-17 against the rest of the IL. My bread is being primarily buttered in one division. Thanks Pilsner!!!

Feasted on Philly's bullpen in Game 1 before losing two tight ones in Games 2 and 3. My biggest bats definately got handled in that series. Happy to leave Philly with 1. Arrendondo continues to look good. 9 starts... 9 ERs surrendered... At the quarter point of the season, it's Arrendondo and, pretty much, the entire Windy City rotation near the top of the IL Pale Ale charts.

Swept Batavia for the 2nd time this season. Nail-biters all along. Took it to extra innings twice. We're now 6-0 in Xtra inning games.

                No complaints.
