next sim: Tuesday. I have a long day on Tuesday so there's a chance it might not be until Wednesday. And no, it's not because I get St Patricks day off. I'm actually working this year so I can take Friday off instead.

The Gamblers out-bid me for the FA Catcher I was after; but at least I was able to sign a utility infielder. (Although it cost me too much, IMO.) My starting SS won't be off the D/L for a while.
With my SS and CF on the D/L, I ended up forgoing the traditional set 'em up and knock 'em down style lineup, and tried to scatter my hits throughout the lineup. Seemed to work pretty well this week. We'll try our luck against Pitt and the 'Cuse, next.

2-4.
Good news? We're one of the better hitting teams in the IL.
Bad news? We're one of the worst pitching teams in the IL.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

We're just flat out on fire. Don't know how long it can last. The thing is, we haven't played any home games. We got some long home stands coming up.
This sim, Geake's a gimp. But why isn't anybody talking about Luis Antonio Ramirez? This guy is filthy right now. Have you seen his ERA? And he's just a baby. We've brought him along slowly though and have managed his pitch counts since he was 17. Not time to take the training wheels off yet, but he's really maturing this year.
Bullpen was better, should have the other Alvarez back in a few weeks which will help.
I know we'll cool off eventually, so it's nice to stack some wins now.WINDY CITY PLAYBOYS
